Great Restaurants around Canton GA

If you like food and good restaurants as much as your local Canton GA Chiropractors do, the local towns of Woodstock, Holly Springs, and Canton are ever-growing and adding new food options all the time.

Food in Canton GA

Starting in Canton, some of the best Italian can be found at Mama Onestas. This family-owned restaurant offers traditional Italian cuisine and wine to match. It's located very conveniently in the downtown Main Street area and you can easily walk between the restaurant and the downtown park of Cannon Park. Also in downtown is the R & M Sandwich (Hoagie) Shop. This local staple has been a part of Canton for years and serves some of the best sandwiches and hoagies around. Next door is Queenies, a traditional southern-style restaurant with lots of appetizers and sides to compliment their main dishes. From fried chicken to bbq to collard greens, Queenies has a rotating menu with locally sourced ingredients. For fresh seafood, Goin' Coastal is one of the local best places. Also with a sister location in downtown Atlanta, this restaurant gets several shipments of fresh seafood daily and the dishes taste the part. Queenies and Goin' Coastal are also located on Main Street in downtown Canton and can be easily accessed by walking around the local area. Downtown Kitchen and Local on North are two other restaurants that have recently rounded out the upcoming restaurant scene in downtown Canton. Further down the road from Main Street is the Canton Marketplace which contains several good eats options including fast bites like Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, Brooklyn Joes, Uncle Maddios, Which Wich, Olive Garden, Chick-Fil-A, La Parilla, and Taco Mac.

Food in Woodstock

Heading down slightly south to Holly Springs are the restaurants of Tres Agaves, 7 Tequilas, Las Palmas, and Dos Margaritas. If you travel further south to downtown Woodstock, the food options expand even more to include places like Tuscany Italian Restaurant, Vingenzos, Freight Kitchen and Tap, Ipps Pastaria and Bar, Truck and Tap, Reel, Pure, Rootstock and Vine, and SALT.
The options in Woodstock contain many more family-owned options compared to some of the local surrounding areas with more traditional chain type restaurants. Although the downtown area of Woodstock has been thriving for years now, it continues to grow all the time with new food options and food trucks constantly adding to the scene. The influence of Italian is strong, but the emerging trend of locally-sourced foods from local farms has been adding to the food scene. Many more American cuisine restaurants have recently opened serving the local customers with local foods from local farms. Although the traditional seated-restaurant setting continues to be popular, another trend that doesn't show any signs of slowing down is the food truck market. Some establishments invite food trucks to come to their tap rooms or bars so that customers have an option to eat without having a kitchen on site, while others have mobile food trucks that frequent festivals, parks, engagements, and parties or special events.
Since the local area of Canton and Woodstock has a large amount of local festivals and concert series throughout the year, there never seems to be a lack of an opportunity to have food trucks accompany these events and serve the people with eating options while they enjoy the day with some music, crafts, and activities.
